On nature
Everything we do is natural. The food we eat, the cities we live in and the ways we interact with each other have all evolved naturally. We can, and should, talk about change, the reasons for change, the consequences and who benefits. However, as unnatural occurrences require intervention by forces not endemic to our environment, to call any product or outcome of human society unnatural is to believe in angels, leprechauns or little green men. Conversely, it should never be argued that the status quo is natural, as any change we make would be equally so.
Hey there!
So, I've been wanting to get this blog off the ground for a while now, but I haven't been able to think of something prophetic enough to make for my first post. So, here it is:
This blog will be a place for me to share my thoughts on a wide variety of topics ranging from sexism, transmisogyny and anti-oppression, to computers and technology, to thoughts I just feel like sharing. In short, basically what I feel like writing about.
P.S. First Post! (I win.)
